Ryan, Gunnar, and I picked a two variable topic for Chapter Four, which had to be relatively related, so we picked the subject of the "number of people in your family vs the number of cars that family owns". We thought that the subject of how many people you have in your family affects the subject of how many cars that family owns. But, despite us thinking they would be closely related (which would have an "r" of .80-1.00), we calculated only an "r" of .407, which means our data is positive, but low.
